Hummingbird
An installation where the audience is invited to eat honey mousse as if it were a hummingbird looking for its next meal.
The project questions the way of eating and food consumption in modern times, and with the help of flexible 3D printing offers a new point of view.
If we had to toil and queue for every meal, maybe we would eat less? Maybe we would appreciate more what we eat and its source in nature? And if we have already progressed from a hunter gatherer society and everything is available, maybe we can just eat slowly and enjoy the food that managed to enter our mouths.
The installation offers an animal eating experience, one that requires physical and mental flexibility in the search for food.
A real observation of the edible flowers. Has anyone been here before or is it possible to press the lips together and forcefully suck the sweet mousse? If someone has already been here, proceed to look for the next flower waiting to be eaten.
